Dog Coming out of a Dream

 

 

 

a calm dog, whose one

troubling dream sifts quietly

away into unreality

replaced by a number of

richly complicated scents

& then the sounds:

toe-nail click on asphalt,

cat-foot on leaves

& then the sense of time

which watches no clock –  

lastly the eyes
